Message from Isabelle Elise Bourgeois,
Founding President of Partnership Network International (PNI)

As a child, I was marked by a small painting painted on earthenware at my grandmother Elise's house which challenged me:
“I said: Life is mean. The echo answered me: Sing! ".

First of all, thank you to all our partners in Switzerland and everywhere in this moving world, for the shared commitment to information and action. Let us persevere and may the strength be granted to us to sing together the beauties of Life.

Co-founder and President of PNI since July 2016, I have participated in the work of the Human Rights Council for many years as a lawyer in international affairs and representative of civil society organizations at the UN.

To stick to the areas of interest of Partnership Network International (PNI), there is no shortage of storms in life, it is true: betrayal, discrimination, harmful traditional practices, corruption, violent extremism and terrorism, trafficking of all kinds , conflicts at all levels, rampant climate change….This terrible observation could discourage us, terrorize us, invite us to despair and flight.

But on the contrary, this rage which falls on humanity, its heritage, its ways of life and its environment can motivate us to seek the truth, defend our neighbor and our environment... to make our voice heard in the different fields of human activity, to work to improve situations.

Partnership Network International (PNI) is based in the international city of Geneva, “City of Peace”, which hosts a rich ecosystem of UN agencies and partners who play a critical role in prevention-implementation, protection and long/medium/short term structural monitoring.

We have a presence there in the various UN mechanisms, advocating and connecting public and private actors, civil society actors, state actors, and individuals.

Partnership Network International (PNI) engages through international advocacy before the international community by presenting the concerns of its partners in international debates and informs and alerts on obstacles and constraints with the aim of expanding access to quality services for everyone.

We do this by facilitating joint advocacy efforts through large coalitions, written contributions and multi-stakeholders’ discussion and by empowering our Network to act collectively and send relevant messages to the UN and Member States at all levels.

PNI (Partnership Network International) bases its action on International Human Rights Law (UDHR of 1948) and the Conventions and protocols resulting from it as well as on the agreement on the Sustainable Development Goals of September 15, 2015.

Partnership Network International is a non-governmental organization independent of any State, any political party and any religious institution.

WELCOME TO THE PARTNERSHIP NETWORK INTERNATIONAL (PNI) WEBSITE
